Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to submit original research articles, review articles, short communications, and technical notes that present significant scientific contributions and are within the aims and scope of Althair: Journal of Science and Technology Innovation. Submitted manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication in any other journal or publication venue.

Manuscript Preparation

Manuscripts must be written in clear and concise English using the official journal template. Each submission should be organized into the following sections, where applicable:

• Title
• Abstract
• Keywords
• Introduction
• Materials and Methods
• Results and Discussion
• Conclusion
• Acknowledgements (optional)
• Author Contributions (CRediT Taxonomy)
• Funding
• Declaration of Competing Interests
• Data Availability Statement (where applicable)

Citation and Referencing

The journal adopts the Elsevier Style (Numbered Vancouver) referencing format.

In-text citations should be indicated by Arabic numerals enclosed in square brackets, numbered consecutively according to the order in which they first appear in the manuscript.

Examples of in-text citations:

· Recent studies have demonstrated significant improvements in sensor performance [1].

· Several machine learning algorithms have been successfully applied in medical diagnosis [2,3].

· Previous investigations reported similar findings [4–6].

The reference list must be arranged numerically according to the order of citation in the text (not alphabetically). Each reference should follow the Elsevier numbered (Vancouver) format.

Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as Mendeley, EndNote, or Zotero to ensure consistency and accuracy in citations and references. The use of the official Elsevier (Numbered) / Vancouver citation style is highly recommended.

References should primarily consist of recent and relevant scholarly sources. At least 80% of the references should be journal articles, and at least 70% should have been published within the last five years. Wherever available, authors should include the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) for each reference.

Reference Requirements

References should primarily consist of recent, relevant, and high-quality scholarly literature.

The journal recommends that:

• At least 80% of the references are journal articles published within the last 10 years.
• Each manuscript includes a minimum of 25 references.
• Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) are provided for all references whenever available.

Author Information

All submissions must include the following author information:

• Full names of all authors
• Institutional affiliations
• ORCID iDs (if available)
• Corresponding author's email address
• Funding information (if applicable)
• CRediT Author Contributions Statement

Authors must also disclose any financial, institutional, or personal relationships that could be perceived as influencing the research through a Declaration of Competing Interests.

Research Integrity and Data Availability

Authors are fully responsible for the accuracy, originality, and integrity of all data, figures, tables, and statements presented in the manuscript.

Where applicable, authors are encouraged to include a Data Availability Statement describing where and how the underlying research data can be accessed, in accordance with the principles of transparency and research reproducibility.
