Initial Editorial Assessment

Upon submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial evaluation by the Editorial Office to determine whether it complies with the journal's aims and scope, manuscript preparation requirements, publication ethics, and plagiarism policy. Manuscripts that fail to satisfy these requirements may be rejected without external peer review (desk rejection).

Double-Blind Peer Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are assigned to at least two independent reviewers with expertise relevant to the subject area.
